Typical Job Duties and Responsibilities
Mop, sweep, and wash floors and other surfaces (inside structures).
Utilize heavy and light (commercial grade) floor (buffers) and shampoo machines, as well as any attachments.
Vacuum rugs in public and business spaces. Daily spot cleaning and rug shampooing are recommended. Furniture, display cases, artwork, chairs, door trim, light fixtures, and any other horizontal surfaces should be cleaned and dusted, including frequent high dusting.
Clean the glass in internal doors, partitions, and the required windows, as well as the windowsills.
Wash the glass and trim at entrance doors, both inside and outside, and wash or spot-clean inside walls as needed each day.
Daily restroom cleaning and restocking of paper products Cleaning tile walls, shelves, stall partitions, sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing floors, emptying waste baskets, servicing soap and toilet paper dispensers, dusting sills, and other tasks are standard bathroom routines.
Keeps an eye out for potential flaws such as clogged toilets and power outages and reports them to supervisors.
1. Collect building garbage every day and place it in an authorized container before putting it in the appropriate collection area for removal.
2. Replace trash can liners in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
3. As directed, sweep or shovel snow off of steps, walkways, connecting walkways, and sidewalks at building entrances.
Does occasional jobs like high dusting, leather and wood surface polishing, and wall washing.

REQUIREMENTS:
No previous cleaning experience is necessary for basic cleaning duties.

As directed by the supervisor, high dusting, leather and wood surface (non-floor) polishing, wall washing, and venetian blind cleaning assemble all required tools and replace or remove the specified carpet tiles.
